Ferraz - Fuserbloc Heavy Duty Fusible Disconnect Switches from 30 to 800 amp
DEFINITION AND FUNCTION The Fuserbloc is a multipolar manually operated fusible disconnect switch. It is based on the most up-to-date operated disconnect switch technology. Designed around North American standards, it gives you a product that "makes and breaks" under load. The most recent Fuse technologies were combined with the switch to provide the best protection against overload and short circuit in your systems. The switch line is tested and approved for use in the most stringent applications such as "Service Entrance Rating".

			RANGE 7 ratings fro 30 to 800 A, using CC, J and L fuses. Various Operations - Front standard (ON-OFF) and Test - Flange - Side - Direct Complete ranges of IEC (DIN, BS or french ferrule) Fusible disconnect switches are available from 20 to 1800A.


PRODUCTS FEATURES PRACTICAL SAFEGUARD Double Break: This modern designed mechanism disconnects on both sides of the fuses using two double breaking contacts per pole. This assures the complete isolation of the fuses in OFF position. Touch Safe: Our design reduces or eliminates the danger of accidental contact with live, energized parts. All our products are supplied standard with fuse cover. EXCEPTIONAL 200 KA SHORT CIRUIT PROTECTION The Fuserbloc Series with the use of CC or J type fuses provides exceptional high short circuit protection, up to 200 kA. The CC and J fuses are more current limiting than older classes of fuses or circuit breaker. PANEL SPACE SAVING This proven switch technology has the fuses incorporated on the top of the switch mechanism to reduce the foot print of the product and save you valuable real estate in your panel. The space saving can be as much as 50% from the switches designed with use of older fuse classes.

Nema/IP rating 1.3R, 12, 4 and 4X. All external handles are available in two colors (black and red/yellow). Handles offer the user the largest selection of options in operating the switch: Standard configuration: ON/OFF (2 positions) Test configuration ON/OFF/TEST (3 positions) FAST AND SAFE COMMISIONING The TEST facility enables testing of the control circuit auxiliaries without switching the main contacst or removing the fuses. This function provides a serious technical and commercial alternative to a separately wired push button. PADLOCKING Handles can be padlocked in the OFF position with up to 3 padloacks. Meets OSHA requirement for lockout/tagout procedures. For safety reasons, the door can not be opened when the handle is padlocked. DOOR INTERLOCK IN POSITION ON The handles allow opening of door in the OFF position only. In the ON position the door can not be opened. This interlocking can however be bypassed by authorized persons (defeater option on handle) for maintenance, testing or commisioning. DEFEATER The defeat function allows qualified personel to by-pass the door interlock when the switch is in the on position by means of a tool. This exclusive design is also available in a 4 and 4X rating.
